The Busy Beaver
By Nicholas Oldland
Review By Christina Lewis
"There once was a beaver that was so busy he didn't always think things through." He made a big mess of the forest by leaving half chewed trees, his dams leaked, he chewed down more trees than he needed to, and sometimes his friends got hurt by his carelessness. One day beaver gets trapped under a tree he just felled, and while he's laid up with bruises, scratches, and broken bones he begins to see what a mess he's made by being careless. As soon as he's healed beaver sets off to right his wrongs. A fun story about taking care of the world around us. (Ages 4-8)
