Review By Christina Lewis
Sixteen-year-old Helen Hamilton has always tried to hide how different she is, but on the tiny coastal town of Nantucket where she grew up that hasn't been easy. At 5'9" and still growing Helen is starting to believe she is what her classmates call her, a freak and a monster. Keeping a low profile becomes much harder for Helen when the Delos family moves into town and for some unknown reason Helen feels hatred towards one member, Lucas. It doesn't help that she's now having nightmares of walking in a dry, parched land only to wake to find her sheets dirty, and at school she's being haunted by hallucinations of three women weeping tears of blood whenever she's near someone from the Delos family. As Helen slowly discovers who she is and what her role as a demigod is, she doesn't know that she and Lucas are destined to repeat the tragedy of a feud that began in ancient Greece. A thrilling fantasy adventure you won't want to put down! (Young Adult)
