Bye, Bye, Butterflies!

One day Charlie and his dad are walking down the street. Charlie's dad likes it when they are quiet, but Charlie likes it when they talk. Charlie's dad tells him to listen to all the sounds he can hear when they're quiet. Then Charlie hears children saying bye to butterflies, he sees lots of butterflies in the air, and lots of hands waving goodbye. Charlie thinks he would like to do something like that, and when he starts school the next year he's happy to see that he gets to raise and release his own butterflies! A fun story about the beauty of nature and listening to the sounds around us. (Ages 4-8)
