Jack Russell is a dog detective with a nose for sniffing out crimes, but he prefers crimes that involve real dogs. Now there's a new dog detective in town, and he thinks that he ranks over Jack. Inspector Jacques, a French dog who solves people crimes with his human inspector, are in town to catch an art thief. He and Jack get off on the wrong paw, but when Jacques and the Inspector get a hold of the wrong end of the stick and start accusing Jack's friends, Jack knows it's up to him to solve the mystery! A great mystery for junior detectives and animal lovers. (Ages 9-12)
