Fifteen-year-old Caitlyn is a Paranormal on the run with her mother from the Government's ParaTroopers and the angry Normals who think all paranormals are bad. Caitlyn's father was murdered by an angry mob of Normals when he spoke out on paranormal rights, and that same day her brother Daniel was kidnapped and they haven't seen him since. Caitlyn's mom lost her abilities after the death of her father, and the two of them are constantly on the run. Trying to hide and fit in takes its toll on Caitlyn. They move to a big city and try to blend in. Caitlyn goes to school and befriends two normals, but fears getting too close. She also finds her brother Daniel, who tries to recruit her for his cause. When Caitlyn discovers what terrible thing he has planned she knows that she will never join him, and her only option is to fight him. Will she be able to defeat the brother she still loves?
